Watch the nest from anywhere with remote access on smartphones, tablets, or computers. Daylight footage is crisp, and at night the camera uses infrared illumination with infrared-cut technology to observe birds after dark without disturbing them, delivering clear detail at distances up to 5–8 meters.
The housing is metal, finished in green, and rated IP66 for dust and splash resistance to withstand rain, wind, and sun. It operates from -10 °C to 60 °C and draws about 12 W from a 12 V / 1 A supply. Installation is designed for embedded use and is adaptable to different setups. A built-in microphone provides audio, and a MicroSD card slot enables local recording.
Video options include 1080p HD as the standard, with optional resolutions up to 5 MP or 2 MP. It supports video codecs H.264 and H.265, and the 3.6 mm lens yields a 90° field of view. Night visibility reaches 5–8 meters, with color lux at 0.1 and monochrome lux at 0.01 (both at f/1.2).
Connectivity and access are handled via WLAN, enabling remote viewing on Android and iOS devices. Apps Camhi and Camhipro are supported, and the device offers RTSP and FTP for straightforward setup. Motion detection can trigger FTP or email photos, and the camera uses a Sony sensor in the GS-GTFLW240CMA series.
